Industrial Engineer
As an industrial engineer in Industrial Edge Engineering, you will use your knowledge and experience in the industrial sector to ensure a smooth transition of a new high-tech product from development (NPI) to volume production. Specifically, you will solve technical issues and propose design/process improvements during the product’s design phase. To fulfill the role requirements, you must have a holistic overview of the assembly and service procedures and effectively participate in team processes within a multicultural environment. Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or STEM sciences is required.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Experience in the industrialization of high-tech products is an advantage
- Familiar with project management methodologies – Experienced in Agile is a plus
How you will contribute
- Responsible for manufacturability and serviceability
- Prepare work instructions and diagnostic documents in order to deliver solid product implementation for both factory and field
- Focus on quality, lead times, production costs and productivity
- Provide manufacturing requirements for a new product
- Monitor product integration along with performance and propose solutions/improvements to the design team
- Plan the required documentation of work instructions and diagnostic procedures for a solid product implementation for both factory and field
- Review both TPD (Technical Product Documentation) and designs and participate in SRA (Safety Risk Assessment) sessions, collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Participate in prototype testing and initiate procedure changes
- Support machine install at customer location
- Support escalations of technical issues
- Provide containments when structural solution is not in place
